TZO Client - The Web Server Settings tab (Photos)

** THIS IS FOR PHOTO SHARING WEB SERVER MODE **

Mode:
This is the mode that the TZO web server is running in.  The above shot shows the TZO Web Server in Photo Sharing mode.  Default is Disabled

Modify Photos (JPG) Files:
This button allows you to manage your images to add comments or captions to each picture.  Adding captions to your photos gives your album a better look and gives the visitor more information and detail about each picture.  When you set the server mode to CAPTIONS - these comments/captions will display under each picture in Thumbnail and Slideshow mode.

Folder: This is the default folder that will be the root of your web site where your images will be served from. You should change this folder to the folder the holds all of your digital photos/images.  You can change the default folder at any time by clicking the [...] file to the right.  Please keep in mind that you can use network drives or mapped drives as the root of your website, but only if you do not run TZO as a service.  XP will not work at all when running as a service with a mapped drive due to a change with the XP and system services

Prevent access to Original Images: TZO has a unique option to prevent access to your original images when using the photo sharing server. This function (Disabled by default) will prevent online users from viewing your images at their full size.  Many artists and photographers want to prevent their full size images from being downloaded and used without permission.  If you restrict the online access to the original images, and only show smaller images such as thumbnails and smaller sizes (preview mode), it will be less attractive for someone to "steal" or use your images without permission.

Primary Web:
This shows the primary web domain.  This is by default the first domain added.  This is used if you have more than one domain name running with the same IP address.  When a visitor comes to your site by IP address, or by a domain name that is unrecognized, the primary domain website will be shown.  If you only have a single domain, this option will be disabled.

Test Your Web Page:
This shows the current website that you have selected in the domains list box. If you have the web server off, this option is not available.  This button will launch the DEFAULT page, using the localhost or 127.0.0.1 loopback IP address, and is not a valid test to ensure that DNS is working, but is does ensure that the web server is working if the page loads properly. When using the Photo Sharing mode, this will show you the main page of your Photo Sharing server.
