Test Network: The Test Network button is available in Setup/Configuration
of TZO V3, as well as in the Web Server and Photo Server Security sections.
Pressing
this button performs some basic network tests to determine if your PC/Web/Photo
server has a TCP/IP port available. If
you have a UPnPTM
compatible
router or hardware device, the Network Detective can assist in finding
an open port and will ask you to route this port to your server. Using
this Network Detective can save you time when setting up and installing
the TZO server. It's
also great for novice users that don't understand how to configure their
NAT Router or Firewall.

The above screenshot shows the dialog that appears when you run the TEST
NETWORK button when the server is in Port 80 mode.

The above screenshot shows an example of the dialog
that appears when you run the TEST NETWORK button. This
is the TZO software asking permission before we try and use our Network
Detective to configure your router or firewall.

The above screenshot shows the dialog that appears when the Network Detective
has found a port on that UPnPTM
compatible
router, and its showing that it is IN USE. Unless
you are the owner of the network or an advanced user that understands
TCP/IP ports.
