TZO Client - The Options tab

My primary connection is a dialup connection:
This is the default connection to the Internet that TZO uses and listens for.  A dial-up connection is made through an analog modem or ISDN modem. Select NO if you have a Cable Modem, DSL modem, Wireless Network or LAN connection.

Run TZO as a Service:
Run TZO as a Windows system service. Running as a system service allows TZO to run before a user logs into windows.  When this option is checked TZO will load as a system service.  This will allow TZO to be executed after a system reboots without any user intervention. Having this option enabled will also allow TZO to function without any user interface. NT Users will need Administrator privileges to enable/disable this option.

Keep Running when client is closed:
This option allows the TZO Windows system service to continue to run when the TZO Client is closed. This allows you to log off properly without the TZO client shutting the service off when exiting applications.

Start the TZO client when I start-up Windows:
As part of the login process start the TZO client software automatically.  If this is not selected, the TZO client software graphical interface will not show on startup.

Automatically Minimize the TZO Client after it starts:
This will set the TZO icon to the System Tray or Taskbar when you start TZO, instead of having TZO start at maximum size.

Set TZO Icon options:
This shows the options when TZO is minimized.  Taskbar is in the Windows taskbar, system tray is placed in the lower right down near the clock, and Hide Icon hides the TZO Icon when it is minimized.  In order to see the TZO client again, you can run the TZOClient.exe file to start the client up. If you have set to automatically minimize, you will sometimes need to run the TZOClient 2 times before the Client will appear. Hide Icon simply hides the icon, the TZO software is still running in the background.

Enable TZO Session Logging:
Record the activity of your TZO client during this session. Indicate which file on your system in which to store this information. By default, this is stored in the default TZO installation directory, and is called tzo.log

View Log:
This shows the current TZO session log as described above.
