Managing your Photo Captions

The TZO Photo Server has an option to allow captions to be used on your web page. When you have this option enabled, you need to add captions to each picture using our built-in photo caption editor.  Please keep in mind that this editor is proprietary, and only TZO can use these captions.  If you edit these images these captions may be lost.

In order to use captions, your Photo Server must be enabled and running.  Open TZO and click on the PHOTO SERVER button, then click on the Display button as shown below:

Under the THEME section, select the CAPTIONS from the drop down list shown above (The shot above shows the display theme set to FILE INFO).  Click the APPLY button to save these settings.

You now need to add captions to your photos.  Now click on the SETTINGS button just above the DISPLAY button, and you will see the screenshot below:

Next to the MODE section, you see the MODIFY PHOTOS (JPG) FILES button.  This button gets you to the Photo Management dialog box as shown below:

This above dialog box allows you to scroll through your images, Add or Edit captions for each image in your album.  Once you decide on the caption and if you want to rotate each image, press the UPDATE IMAGE button.  This updates the image with the caption, and if you rotated the image, this will be updated as well. You can do this for each image if you wish, or scroll through and only update the images you choose. Once you click the CLOSE button, visitors will see captions under your pictures as shown in the example screenshot below:

Please note that if you are using the TZO Camera Phone service to add pictures to your album remotely, these images will have captions already on them.  This is due to the SUBJECT LINE of the email that was sent with the picture is inserted automatically as the caption.
