What's better
about the TZO PhotoSharing than other Photosharing
services? |
|
|
|
|
|
TZO
V3 software not only offers Dynamic DNS (DDNS), but
also offers an integrated web server that offers a
unique digital photosharing experience. Sharing
photos with your friends and family can be time
consuming - especially attaching a single picture and
sending this picture via email. Often sending more
than one picture at a time per email is difficult and
leads to bounced emails or undeliverable email.
Some other Photosharing services offer you a website
where you can upload each picture to your online
album. All of these alternate methods can be very
time consuming and it may take up to a day or two
until your album is ready to share with others!
Using the TZO V3 Photosharing you can instantly start
sharing your pictures with others. It's as simple as
installing TZO V3 software, selecting a domain of
your choice, and finally pointing the TZO
Photosharing server to the folder on your computer
where your pictures reside. See below for complete
steps on getting TZO Photosharing up and
running. |

How do I get
my Digital Photos on my computer? |
|
|
|
|
|
The first
step to getting the TZO Photosharing working is to
get your digital camera to "synch" to your
computer. This means that when you plug in your
camera to your computers USB port, you need to be
able to get your pictures from your camera into
your computer. Your manual that came with the
digital camera should explain in full detail how to
move your digital images from your camera to your
computer. If you are using Windows XP, you can see
the Microsoft Digital
Photography website that explains how to use
your Windows XP to transfer images from your
digital camera to your Windows XP
computer.

How to I
setup the TZO PhotoSharing software and start sharing
my Photos with others? |
| |
|
| |
It's easy to
get started with the TZO Photosharing software.
Follow the simple steps below and you will be sharing
your digital photos with others in just minutes!
Here are some quick steps on how to best use
TZO Photosharing with your broadband
connection:
1) Get your Digital camera
software installed and running and make sure
you can get your digital pictures from the camera
into the computer.
2) Install the TZO V3
software and choose a domain name. Set the
TZO Software in Photo mode and point the TZO
Photosharing software to the FOLDER where your
digital pictures reside. Typically this is the MY
PICTURES folder - and TZO points to that folder by
default.
3) Configure your router or
firewall to open the proper ports (if you
use one) in order to connect to your Photosharing
album/website using the current IP address of the
router. The TZO Photosharing has a built in web
server that listens on port 80 - so you should
forward port 80 to the LAN IP address of your system
where you are running the TZO Photosharing. The TZO
Photosharing application will attempt to open this
port for you if your router is compatible with UPnP
networking.
4) Now that you have your Photosharing
software running, you can then use this domain name
to connect to your photo album from the
Internet. It's very important that if you
are running the TZO software, that you keep the
software running at all times.
Thats it! Its as simple as using the TZO DOMAIN NAME
(Example: YourPics.tzo.com) to connect to the TZO
Photo Album remotely instead of using an IP address
that's always changing. The TZO domain name NEVER
changes, and you will always continue to use the same
domain name whenever you, your friend or family want
to connect to your Photo Album site.
Tips: TZO Photosharing also has PHOTO MAIL - you can
add a picture to your digital photo album by emailing
pictures to a special email address that TZO assigns.
