Now that the server is
setup with the Web server and FTP server, and the
ports are opened in the router, you should setup
the client system with the Thingamablog software.
The client system is a laptop or desktop system
where you will normally "write" your blog. You then
save your entry, push a button to "publish" the
entry you just wrote. In this tutorial, the
"client" will be a laptop that we use daily. This
allows us to write to the blog at anytime and then
publish to the FTP server from almost anywhere.
CLIENT SIDE SETUP - Step 1) Download and
setup the Thingamablog software
Once you download and install the
Thingamablog software, run Thingamablog by
clicking on the link in your Windows Start/Programs

CLIENT SIDE SETUP - Step 3 )You will now
see the Blog wizard screen as shown below. Since we
are using the TZO web server and the blog will be
our main site, we will enter a forward slash (/)
into the Base path as shown below. For this
example, we use the domain name MyBlog.tzo.com so
this is the base URL. Enter the domain name of your
blog - such as http://YourBlog.tzo.com, etc. Once
you do this, click the NEXT button.
