Summary description - Use the TZO SMTP
Outbound Mail Relay (OMR) Service to send your
outbound email. Some ISPs, notably AOL,
Earthlink and many others will not deliver
email that originates from a server at a
dynamic IP address. Although it's possible to
send mail out through your ISP's SMTP server,
it is sometimes difficult to obtain the correct
information to allow you to do this. In
addition, some ISPs prevent you from using
their SMTP server unless you use the email
address they provide you with, or they may
block port 25 SMTP outbound unless it's from
their mail server. If this is the case, the TZO
Outbound Mail Relay service can help you
deliver your mail in any of these cases. We
have also built into this service certain
thresholds to help prevent this service from
being used by spammers. These conditions are
shown in the table below. We offer different
levels of this service to accommodate different
email volume requirements. |

A single OMR service
accommodates one domain at one IP address. If
you want to send email from one domain but with
two different Internet IP addresses, (for
example you might send email from your domain
at the office at one IP address and also email
from the same domain at home at another IP
address) you will need two OMR services, one
for each IP address. Although if you want to
send email from two different domains at the
same IP address, you'll only need one OMR
service. |

If you have a dynamic IP
address where you will be sending your email
from, you need to run the TZO client software
or use TZO DDNS embedded within your router to
keep your Dynamic IP address up to date in our
DNS. |
