TZO Packages for i386 Cobalt Qube 3

TZO DDNS Client now supports the Cobalt Qube 3 Internet Appliance of Cobalt Networks. This is the first package TZO has released for the Cobalt i386 Cube 3 Appliance Server. It has all the funtionallity of the latest perl client with some additional features. The features include a mail notification sent to an email address you specify upon a change of your IP Address and the client is configured through the interface integrated into the Qubes Administration Interface. TZO Packages for i386 Cobalt RaQ4

The TZO Client platform now extends to the Network Appliance Products of Cobalt Networks. The first package released is only for the Cobalt i386 RaQ4 Server. It has all the funtionallity of the latest perl client with some additional features. The features include a mail notification sent to an email address you specify upon a change of your IP Address and the client is configured through a web interface integrated into the Cobalt RaQ4's Administration Interface. TZO Perl Scripts

tzoperl.pl - Beta 1.6-2 Aug 17, 2000
TZO's latest perl script release is a cleaned up version of tzosock.pl that uses a separate configuration file [/etc/tzopl.conf] and logs all instances of signon and signoff as well as the current ip address for dynamic updates. This is a very stable and thoroughly tested script. It works behind gateways/firewalls and routers. It also includes a daemon that will detect ip address changes on the local server or on an internet gateway, like a Cable/DSL Router.

tzosock.pl - Beta - July 28, 2000
The tzosock.pl script uses perl sockets to send and receive dynamic dns updates to the TZO Servers. This was posted for someone that did not have Lynx installed and has a mips processor. Future releases of TZO will be based on the a Pure Perl model using sockets and not Lynx Shell commands.

TZOLinuxperl-1.1 - January 21, 2000
This release is simply a repackaging of the previous perl client in rpm and tarball format.

tzo.pl - January 5, 2000
A perl script a user wrote for the TZO DDSN web client.
The script combines signing ON and OFF in one script with command line switches for using entered values or default values that are stored in the script.

TZOLinux-1.6-2 - Beta - August 16, 2000
Fixed a minor bug in the the cron script. If a file it was looking for was not present it would not complete. Added and update associated with the terminal output on Red Hat 6.2.

TZOLinux-1.6-1 - Beta - June 1, 2000
The 1.6 release uses a configuration file [/etc/tzo.conf] to set the signon parameters for the TZO.Signon Script. Also, this release includes a cron script that checks to see if your IP Address has changed from the last time you signed on to the TZO DDNS Servers, if it has changed it will automatically update your DNS record. This will also work if you are behind a gateway/firewall/router, and can detect the change in the IP Address of that device as well.

TZOLinux-1.09-1 - August 13,1999
The 1.09-1 release is a cleaned up version of the previous release. Better bundling with README's, tarball and RPM format available for download.

TZO.Signon/Signoff - November 28, 1998
A simple shell script that uses lynx to post a users current IP Address to the TZO DDNS Servers.
